At Harpo Studios I've been working on another 5 second challenge with the topic "Water." This is what I came up with. I am attempting here to merge various textures and styles created in Photoshop with AfterEffects to create a painterly look.

Reflection
Here is an animation I did as part of a personal project. The topic for the assignment was reflection. I used C4D, AE and animated the sparkles in Photoshop.
Learning cinema
I've been applying myself during down time and learning Cinema 4D. I've been following the introductory tutorials at http://greyscalegorilla.com/intro-to-cinema-4d. Currently I've finished the lesson tutorials and moved on to the project ones. I feel they start out dry (as things tend to be when learning what tools do) and becomes much more fun as you apply what you've learned. Now that I jumped into the project I'm completely addicted. Here is an image capture of my progress so far.

Animating with Photoshop
I've been experimenting with traditional animation techniques inside Photoshop. Here is a simple .gif of a mouse I did in a few minutes.
Motion Test
Recently I worked on a motion test as part of a job application. I had to use the title "Trace." The animation also needed to start out with a dot. Below is the final animation.
